I have thought about my father off and on this week and what he sees now of his children and his legacy... Below are the last two written communications I had with my father before he passed away and after. I don't know why it hit me to share this, but as I believe I am a conduit, at times, for Spirit to move through me. I am just following the guidance... May those who still have your fathers around... Love them dearly no matter what you believe they have done or haven't done. As I posted as a quote here before;
"Just because someone doesn't love us the way we want them to... Doesn't mean they don't love you with everything they have..."
Greetings Father,
I just wanted you to know that I love you. You are always in my heart. I forgive you for anything and everything my mind has ever held against you. As I hope one day my son will do for me. I know your life has not been an easy one and I want you to know I thank you for all that you have ever done for me. Know that I pray to God everyday that you choose to bring your life into whatever outcome you would wish to experience because I know that no matter how powerful my prayers may be they can not override the free will of another soul.
You have beautiful grandchildren that hold such love in their hearts…I only wish for you to know they have you to thank for my being here. I love you …

So, honor those who have come before us... If you are now becoming a father of your own right. Then know it is your time to choose to move forward the light that you hold. It is your time to end the thousands of years of unconscious action towards children... it is your time to shape destiny, throughout the generations, as you show your children how you walk in the world...
My blessings to you all... May you know yourselves more clearly on this day... because we all deserve to see thr truth of who we share this planet with.
Thank you for sharing such an important piece of anyone person's soul. In the last ten years I have found a new relationship with my father, and it couldn't of happened without my patients and foregivenss. The saying that you posted is one I believe in very much: "Just because someone doesn't love us the way we want them to... Doesn't mean they don't love you with everything they have..." I am thankful that I had realized that he was loving me the best he knew how earlier rather than later in my life, as there are so many little moments that I have been able to share with him since then.
